Modeling of threaded connection with threaded insert

A numerical calculation of technological stresses in a threaded connection with the presence of a threaded insert made of corrosion-resistant heat-resistant steel 08H18N10 in the DEFORM-3D software package was performed. The influence of the change in the thread pitch on the distribution of axial, radial and tangential stresses is investigated. Analytical and numerical method calculated the distribution of the load on the threads in uniaxial tension in the connection “bolt-nut”. The stress-strain state of a threaded joint with the presence of a threaded insert for uniaxial tension was obtained. The effect of installing the threaded insert in the joint has been evaluated.
