Modeling Digital Transformation Strategy

Corporations go through digital transformations to stay relevant in the digital economy. Digital transformation is a highly complex endeavor that potentially impacts the whole corporation. Since it is very crucial for success in the digital economy, the corporation needs to develop a sound strategy for digital transformation and evaluate it. Models and tools are needed to evaluate the different strategic options. Many complexities exist with modeling and evaluating the digital transformation strategy. A holistic approach is essential for evaluating a digital transformation strategy. The approach should consider the market dynamics, digital disruption characteristics and corporation characteristics as well as the entire process of realizing the digital transformation strategy. In this paper, we present a generic model for modeling and evaluating the digital transformation strategy.
