Intelligent Relay Protection of Electric Power Systems

Based on the identified shortcomings of this existing technical solutions for the implementation of relay protection electrical networks, a method for implementing intelligent relay protection is proposed, based on use of the current sensors, voltage sensors, sensors containing digital mode analyzers and digital passports of elements electrical complexes. The technical result is to reduce the number of false alarms protection. The advantage of the proposed method is the ability of the protection to adapt to changes in the modes of operation elements electrical systems and to correct the parameters of operation. Intelligent relay protection can also be an advisor for operational personnel and adjust the parameters only after approval.
