Abstract:

Nowadays top down planar nanolithography technologies are widely used in the area of production of Nano devices for electronics and telecommunications. The new alternative paradigm of mechanical bottom-up nano-assembling of prospective nanodevices from individual nano-objects pretends to compete with it. One of the main fundamental problems in mechanical nano-manipulation is that connected with large influence of sticking force between nanogripper and object under nanomanipulation. In this report sticking forces between CNTs and Ti2NiCu nanotweezers are studied experimentally and approaches to theoretical estimation of the nature of those forces are discussed.
