Bioinformatics Identification of TLR4 Genes in Brahma Chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus)

In this study TLR4 gene (Toll-like Receptor 4) is one of the non-specific immunological responses and is a gene that functions to control the resistance of chickens to the attack of Salmonella sp. comfortable temperature for chickens. This research was conducted to trace the TLR4 gene by tracing data access from NCBI on 3/2/2019. The first study obtained bioinformatics data from NCBI/Genbank database sources (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) to obtain various information data about physicochemical genes. The search results obtained eleven TLR4 Brahman Chicken gene data stored at NCBI. The length of genes (bp) TLR4 in this study were all the same, 2,732bp of DNA that is given an amino acid code 843. TLR4 gene peptide in Brahman chicken in all variants (X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, X9, X10 and X11) are only found in four parts in the cell, namely peroxisomal (pero), plasma membrane (pm), endoplasma reticulum (ER) and lysosome (lyso). This study suggested that Brahman chicken play an essential role in the mechanism of chicken resistance to Salmonella sp associated with an immune response.
