Influences of Distributive Bragg's Reflector on CdTe Solar Cell

CdTe based solar cell is the point of attention for many researchers due to its high efficiency and more stability towards high temperature. In this document, we have investigated a unique structure of conventional solar cell based on CdTe material. Distributive Bragg reflector (DBR) is implemented on the proposed investigated structure to reflect the lights towards absorber layer which in turn improves the η of the cell. On the proposed investigated structure we extracted the conversion η of 20.27% with Voc=0.9 and Jsc=25.393(mA/Cm²). Moreover, different window layer along with back surface field (BSF) material is also tested on the investigated proposed structure and observed an excellent performance parameters.
