Power Quality Improvement In Hybrid Power System Using Synchronous Reference Frame Theory Based Distribution Static Compensator With Battery Energy Storage System

Accomplishment of DSTATCOM for civilizing excellence of power in hybrid power network is detailed in this paper. Battery bank for energy storage is put up on in analogous with DC connected capacitor which helps to exchange active power with point of common coupling (PCC). Use synchronous reference frame theory technology for DSTATCOM function to mitigate the power superiority turbulence in hybrid power system. Investigated events include switching ON/OFF the load, wind/solar power plant outage and wind /solar power plant grid synchronization. Proposed work has been performed using MATLAB/Simulink.
