Efficient HDR tone-mapping for ADAS applications

In this paper we propose an efficient, very fast tone-mapping algorithm. It is dedicated to the ADAS applications with high dynamic range (HDR) cameras. The proposed tone-mapping algorithm can cope with problems mainly related to the light reflections from road signs in night conditions. In such cases, it outperforms the state-of-the art tone-mapping operators in both the image quality and the speed of processing.
