Monitoring System Implement of Marine Electric-powered Driven

In this paper, first we introduced a electric-powered driven system. Then a control and measurement system aimed at the battery supply controller has been implemented based on the above electric-powered driven system. This software was been implemented by NI Labview based on the RS232. The purpose is carrying out the battery supply controller work status simulation in the laboratory to find the defect. Monitoring system implement the dynamical monitoring, the data saving, the alarm and the control command download. The data collected from the HMI are including the collecting data of system voltage and current. The control command are battery temperature simulation, the power setting, the electronic load setting, the chopper setting and some switching parameter downloading, etc. The main works focus on the design of CAN Bus and RS232 communication protocol; multichannel RS232 control implemented in Labview; the control system software architecture. In practical engineering application, this system can absolutely realize automatic supervision and control process efficiently and reliably. And it saves a big amount of testing time in experiments.
