Control and Management of the Development Degree of the Electric Arc in the Ore-Thermal Furnace

The research approach of metallurgical processes through the analysis of indirect indicators of the process has been considered. Using the example of a phosphor furnace, we consider the nature of the effect in voltage and current changes on the power distribution in an ore-thermal furnace between an arc, its shunt resistance, and the melt. It is shown that the use of indirect methods for controlling the development of the arc and changing the harmonic composition of the voltage and current of the electrodes allows the process to be carried out in accordance with the technological regulations.
