Comparative Characteristics of Wave-Type Wind Converters

The paper gives an overview of contemporary renewable energy converters, in particular, for wind power engineering, highlighting the design features of existing wind converters and their advantages and disadvantages. A special type of medium flow energy converters has been defined, i.e. wave-type converters, which are characterized by the use of the principle of kinematic interaction of the multilink wave surface or its links, acting as a pendulum with a variable support point, with the medium, which are installed longitudinally or transversely in relation to the medium movement, and their comparative characteristics have been described.
