Stochastic Models and Calculations of Distributed Computer Systems Reserve Size

Robustness scalable computer systems (CS) are considered. CS functioning is described by stochastic methods Using elements of Queuing theory, mathematical models of CS with a reserve for a finite number of states are constructed. Analytical solutions for the probabilities of the states and the size of the CS reserve are found to maintain CS high performance. A system of differential equations to derive the analytical dependence of the efficiency indices characterizing the reliability of CS is obtained.
