A Remote Decentralized Reconfiguration Strategy of Smart Grid using the Internet of Things

The main goal of this work is to develop a remote control strategy to control the switches used in smart grids in orders to optimize electrical parameters and conduct the distribution smart grid reliably and flexibly. A reconfiguration strategy is developed using graph theory and implemented in a SCADA system to remotely modify the topology of the power grid using the MQTT protocol and the Internet of Things. Tests of the proposed algorithm have been done on IEEE33bus.
