A New Scheme of Embedded RF Probe an Embedded Three-Port Loop of RF Parameters Detection

In the test of most devices in the radio frequency field, we need to know the value of current/voltage of a certain part on PCB, making sure it won’t show nonlinearity. Aiming at the difficulties of current/voltage measurements in the RF, this paper designs a new scheme of Rogowski coil called current loop, creating a high transmission impedance and small insertion loss by designing an overlapping structure, and the experiment proves good consistency with the simulation results. The design also produces the relevant printed circuit boards to improve the accuracy of the experiment, which include two parts: extraction of the plate parameters(DK and DF), and de-embedding of two ports to improve the feasibility of the experiment. The proposed methods play an important role in the challenges of EMC and SI.
