The Hardware of Self-Ordering Machine for Canteen (SELFO)

a traditional canteen ordering system often can be a burden for both customers and sellers. This system often causes problems when the customers or the sellers don't have the exact change to complete the transaction. This creates a problem since good customer experience is crucial in the restaurant business. In order to solve this problem, a solution called SELFO - A simple machine that eliminated the needs of physical energy was designed. This machine utilizes the smartcard and Secure Access Module (SAM) as a way to build a secure cashless payment system. The transaction can be handled securely and automatically without the needs of physical money. This machine uses ATMega328p to handle the communication between the smartcard and SAM which is needed as a verification method so the transaction can be done securely.
