Swarm Intelligence on Color-Embedded-Grayscale Image

The recovery process of color-embedded-grayscale image becomes challenging task since of its ill-posed nature. The recovered color image produced from the color-embedded-grayscale image exhibits unpleasant result. Some important color information are lost in this stage. To overcome this issue, this paper presents a new technique on improving the quality of recovered secret image by means of optimization process. The proposed method exploits the effectiveness of swarm intelligence on finding the optimum adjustment weight. As reported in Experimental Section, the proposed method offers promising result for the color recovery task in terms of subjective and objective measurements. The proposed method yields the mean squared error about $3.447\mathbf{E}+08$ over training and testing dataset.
