Participatory Design with Children in Designing a Smartphone Holder

Participatory design is a method involving stakeholders in the design process, from the beginning until the end of the process. The heart of this method is the participants. Participatory design is a method developed in Scandinavian traditional with the core in workshop and design sessions. This paper presents the adaption of participatory design method in designing a smartphone holder, with children as the main participants. An ophthalmologist and a product designer are also involved as informants.
