Implementation of V/f Adjustable Speed Drive for Induction Motor Using dSPACE dS1104

In this paper, performance of Open-loop and Closed-loop V/f speed control methods is examined using MATLAB/Simulink at various speed. These methods are implemented on laboratory prototype using dSPACE DS1104 on a 3Hp, 415V, 50Hz Induction Motor fed by VSI. Inverter Voltage and frequency is controlled using SPWM technique. It is observed that the experimental results of these methods almost matches with the simulation results.
