Economic Efficiency of a Photovoltaic Power Plants

The article presents the economic aspects of investments in photovoltaic power plants. Factors that significantly influence the assessment of investment profitability are described. In the article, the authors presented the results of simulation of investment profitability in a micro PV installation with a capacity of 50kW. The profitability analysis was carried out using two methods: DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return). The DCF method allows for the market calculation of the investment value under the assumed conditions and the discount rate. The second one allows to compare the economic efficiency of the investment.
