Four-Wire Three-Phase Active Power Filter With Fuzzy Controller For Compensation Of Distortion of Currents Unbalance in the Conditions of Fluctuated Load

The methods of control for active power filters are based on modern understanding the power's components. Theoretical insights concerning the definition of inactive components of power, among which pq-and pqr-theory of instantaneous power stand out, are used to determine the specified current of the active power filter. At the same time, a significant indicator of the quality of the device in general is the process of adjustment of current. On the basis of the analysis of known works, it was figured out that the parameters of the compensator's closed-loop current controller shall be defined by the load mode which very often is changeable. Thus the need for adjusting the parameters of the controller arises. The results of previous studies have shown that special based on fuzzy logic approach can be used to adjust the coefficients of the controller. The controller, which is designed using fuzzy logic for correction integral and differential terms, was proposed. The model of a four-wire three-phase power active filter with a fuzzy controller for compensation of distortions of currents unbalances under variable load mode was developed using the graphical programming entwinement. During the study, it was found that the current and power unbalance does not exceed 1% for the calculated mode. Conclusions of research has shown that the current and power imbalance does not exceed 1% for the calculated mode.
