Focus Issue on Radio & Wireless Week 2020 [From the Guest Editor's Desk]

This special issue features features four technical articles and a number of columns on various topics covered at IEEE Radio & Wireless Week 2020 (RWW 2020). The technical articles cover diverse topics, with the central theme being wireless technologies that are likely to have a tremendous impact. The articles summarize the state of the art for several key systems that enable 5G and wireless technologies and also take a glimpse at what lies ahead for these systems and technologies. The technical articles discuss topics related to four of the topical conferences of RWW 2020. More specifically, these articles provide an overview of technological and business developments in the general areas of each topical conference.
