Voltage drop control for V2G applications

This paper presents a power factor control for Vehicle-to-grid systems in order to carry out an admissible voltage range. Yet, this method can compensate the voltage drop at a distribution node, which is caused by the charging of electric vehicles, by adjusting the charging schedules and injecting reactive power from electric vehicles to the distribution node through an on-board charger to avoid the damage which can affect both the user's appliances and the grid. A case study that consider a 14 buses distribution grid and high level penetration of gridable vehicles is implemented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed scheduling.
