Stability Analysis of Single-phase Voltage Source Converters Based on Linearization Theory

Three-phase voltage source converters (VSCs) are commonly applied to power electronic system and their stability is analyzed in the frequency domain. However, the stability analysis of single-phase VSCs is rare and the frequency domain modeling is complex. In this paper, a time domain nonlinear dynamic average modeling in dq-frame is proposed. First, a system model is established according to single-phase VSCs circuit. Then, the stability analysis of single-phase VSCs with two different linearization theories are tried and completed. Finally, the MATLAB/Simulink model of single-phase VSC is built and simulation results can verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
