A Portable Vital Sign Device with Liquid Crystal Display TFT Touchscreen

Patient Monitor is an apparatus used to monitor the vital sign. The parameters are ECG, BPM (beats per minutes), body temperature, respiratory rate. Electrocardiograph is a medical sign which usually used by the clinician to diagnose the patient condition. The purpose of this study is to design one channel of ECG from lead II. body temperature, and respiration rate monitor. The result of the ECG signal, body temperature, respiratory rate was processed through Arduino Mega2560 and displayed on TFT LCD 5 inch. The examination is done by comparing (BPM) the design with the standard, which gives the highest error of 2,2%, which is still a feasible value because the tolerance limit is 5%. We compare (body temperature) the module with standard (patient monitor), which gives the highest error is 0.5 °C, which is still possible because the tolerance limit is 1°C. Also, we have compared the respiration rate with standard apparatus (patient monitor) which gives the highest error of 5,36% which is still feasible because the tolerance limit is 10%.
