The Sum of the Series for the Current in the Leontovich’s Equation

A new version of solving Leontovich's integral equation for a current in a linear radiator, performed in the form of a thin-walled straight metal cylinder with circular cross section, is considered. The solution is based on using the method of variation of constants and is reduced to the sequential multiplying of the terms by one and the same magnitude. The sum is compared with the first components of the series and with the results of other methods for solving the problem. Results for different radiator sizes are given.
