Experimental Studies of the Fabry-Perot Resonator with Mirrors Perforated by Coaxial-Sector Holes

The paper presents theoretical and experimental studies of the Fabry-Perot resonator, consisting of flat, mutually parallel mirrors, of finite thickness, perforated by coaxial-sector holes. The comparative analysis of the experimental and theoretical frequency characteristics of the reflection coefficients for a single mirror and system of two mirrors is presented. The occurrence of the transmission resonance of an electromagnetic wave for two mirrors system at a wavelength less than cut-off wavelength is experimentally confirmed.
