Radiating Unit Based on Inverted Dielectric Waveguide

The results of the experimental research of the radiating structure, based on inverted dielectric waveguide with metal plane and periodic sequence of auxiliary partially-metallized dielectric rods, are presented. The attenuation and VSWR measurements have been carried out in a wide frequency range. The near field amplitude has been measured through the moving probe method. The radiation energy characteristics have been measured.
