The Development of Researches in the Electrical Engineering Field in Kharkiv Practical Technological Institute. The personalities

The formation of a new direction "electrical engineering" in the Kharkiv Technological Institute is shown. The scientific achievements of the scientists who were at the electrical engineering education beginnings were analyzed. It is argued that the new direction basis was taken by the experience of the leading European electrical schools. The information about the establishment and functioning of the institute physical office was provided, in particular, its equipment was shown. It is stated that in Kharkiv Technological Institute the best electrical laboratory in Ukraine was created. It was emphasized that Kharkiv Technological Institute scientists not only conducted research for the educational process improvement, but also carried out the large-scale projects for Kharkiv city.
