A comparative study of the harvested wireless power using multiple antenna designs implemented in a common domestic environment

This paper presents a comparative study over a relationship between the extent of the received voltage and received power by three diverse antennas. The antennas were designed for two distinct frequency bands and fabricated using the conventional etching techniques as well as the modern inkjet printing techniques. Three antennas namely, etched slot antenna, Ultra Wide Band antenna and inkjet-printed slot antenna were designed and created using the conventional etching techniques as well as the modern inkjet printing techniques. The three antennas worked well at the designed frequency with a good correlation established between the simulated and the measured results.
