Transmission of biomedical signal using VLC based system in hospitals

Communication in hospitals has always been cause of concern due to other media of communication. Radio frequency(RF) which not only affect sensitive machinery present in the hospital but also human being by many means. When the machinery is affected its output is affected which indirectly distorts result from body parameters of human being, and thus doctor can't judge disease if any. An alternative is to be made which could let proper flow of data, as well as doesn't affect human being. A proposed system includes continuous monitoring of body parameters and transferring the data with the help of Visible Light Communication(VLC) technology and streaming the same on website so that doctor can judge the results continuously and treat patient instantly. The system includes use of microcontroller MSP430 for monitoring patient body parameters, driver circuitry for LEDs, LDR towards receiver end and the node MCU module to store data on cloud and show result on website.
