A Fast Circular Convolution Imaging Algorithm for FMCW CSAR

The frequency modulated continuous wave circular synthetic aperture radar (FMCW CSAR) is a high resolution imaging radar, which has always played an important role in target recognition. However, the wave number domain imaging algorithm based on FMCW CSAR has a low efficiency. Therefore, a fast circular convolution algorithm is proposed in this paper. With the method, the convolution is applied to express the scattering and the Fourier transform is used to calculate the convolution, which can avoid the complex calculation of the system kernel function and improve the imaging efficiency when the target is located in the center of the scene. Some simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
