Research of Point Cloud Data Reorientation Based on Reference Point and CIP Algorithm

In the point cloud data reorientation of reverse engineering, the error of reference coordinates used in the three-point positioning principle will inevitably reduce the accuracy of the relocation. If only the ICP algorithm is used for the merging operation, the computational load of the computer will be greatly increased. Therefore, a new relocation algorithm is proposed based on the three-point positioning principle and CIP (Iterative Closest Point Algorithm) method, which greatly improves the efficiency and accuracy of the relocation.
