Research on Hanging Grounding Wire Device with Integrated Electroscope and Grounding

Hanging the grounding wire during the catenary daily power outage operation is the significant link to ensure safe work. While maintaining, the electroscope must be firstly used for electricity inspection before grounding wires. Since the operation is carried out step by step, it is easy to mistake tools and there might be inconsistency between the inspection line and the grounding line due to the negligence of the maintenance personnel. In view of this problem, this paper studies the hanging grounding wire device that integrates electricity inspection and grounding. The electroscope of this device is connected with the grounding rod clamp. It realizes the automatic expansion of the electroscope through the drive mechanism controlled by the motor. And it can effectively prevent hang grounding wires with electricity, which will ensure the safety of workers and improve the efficiency of maintenance work at the same time.
