Design of Communication Module of Vehicle Controller Based on ISO26262 Standard

Aiming at the potential hazards and risks of the current pure electric vehicle controller module, a communication controller module based on ISO26262 is proposed to improve the safety and reliability of the vehicle controller. According to the specifications and requirements in the functional safety standard, this paper evaluates the potential hazards and risks of the CAN communication function of the vehicle controller, determines its functional safety objectives and functional safety requirements, and uses the dual-core principle to design the CAN communication module. The fault injection test is carried out by simulating the communication fault of the whole vehicle controller. It is verified that the CAN communication module of the vehicle controller designed in this paper meets certain functional safety objectives and improves the safety and reliability of the vehicle controller.
