Prototype Development Of Insulator Hardware With Corona Ring Installed For 400KV Transmission Network

This paper represents, Prototype development of 400KV Single Suspension Normal type Insulator Hardware suitable for ACSR Moose conductor. It contains overall Development of product including Designing, Manufacturing and Testing of Hardware, referring Indian Standard 2486 (all parts). Need of High voltage should be compared with the low voltage level in order to extracts the benefits. Aim of this study is to investigate and establish a procedure to determine and improve Mechanical and Electrical stability, Strengthens the Mechanical support for Insulator fitting and Conductor of transmission network. Therefore designing a prototype model of insulator hardware fitting suitable for ACSR moose conductor on existing standard is presented.
