Digitally Controlled Power Supply Design with Continuously Adjustable Input Voltage Based on UCD3138

Digital control power supply could dynamically adjust and change the running state of the system in real time through accurate calculation of algorithm, which makes the control system far more stable and accurate than analog switching power supply, so it is the trend for the power supply technology development. In this paper, a digital controlled DC/DC buck stabilized power supply is designed based on the power management chip UCD3138 made by TI Company. The system reduces the peripheral circuit complexity of DSP control system, and it could realize 24V to 72V DC input, and the output voltage could reach 12V stably. The maximum output power of the system is 28W, the output precision is 4 bits, the output ripple is 10mV, the efficiency is 91%, and the no-load power consumption is 2. 62W.
