Optimization of PID Controller for Single Phase Inverter Based on ABC

We optimize the Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control parameters for the single-phase inverter using Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm (ABC). The parameters of the PID controller are regarded as the honey source, and the integral time absolute error (ITAE) performance index is selected as the objective function of parameter optimization. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the dynamic performance of the control system, enhance the rapidity and stability of the system, and find the global optimal solution effectively. The optimized PID controller can be applied to single-phase inverters with good system stability, which proves the practicability and effectiveness of ABC application in power electronic system control optimization.
