EV Smart Charging in Collective Residential Buildings: the BienVEnu Project

The electric vehicles should highly roll out in the next years and decades. But an easy access to a charging point is mandatory to enable this development. In urban cities, the major part of households are in collective buildings where the parkings are not private places. Then, specific solutions must be proposed for these buildings. Moreover, use of smart charging solutions will be essential to prevent local constraints and to reduce the charging costs. That is the objective of the BienVEnu project that is presented in this paper. A charging management system has been developed in a commercial context, and tested with both simulations and real tests.
