Complex Sounding of The Ionosphere in The Space Experiment on Board of The International Space Station and Transport Cargo “Progress”

JSC “VNIIEM” Corporation jointly with the cooperation (IAG, RSRIRC, NIRFI, IKI RAS) starts the R&D project “Ionosonde-TGK” onboard the Russian segment of the International Space Station and the unmanned transport cargo “Progress” planned for 2021. With the help of new developed topside sounder “LAERT-M” the experiments on complex sounding of the ionosphere, including vertical sounding, forward and reverse trans-ionospheric sounding, bistatic sounding between TGK and the ISS, global monitoring of EM emissions in the frequency range 0.1-20 MHz should be provided.
