Closed-loop Active Power Decoupling Control with Capacitor Current Feedforward for Single-Phase Bridge Inverter Based on Boost Converter

In the previously proposed single-phase bridge inverter based on boost converter, the voltage feedforward control method based on accurate model is highly dependent on the accuracy of the parameters, such as the values of the decoupling capacitor. However, in the practice, the values of the decoupling capacitor will drift from originally designed values because of operation condition changing, thus, the practical capacitor voltage will be inaccurately controlled, which leads to an unsatisfactory decoupling effect. In this paper, a closed-loop active power decoupling control with decoupling capacitor current feedforward is proposed to address this issue. By the proposed method, the capacitor voltage is dynamically adjusted according to the practical capacitance value. The simulation results show by the proposed control method, stronger adaptability to the change of decoupling capacitance value can be obtained, thus the decoupling function is much more improved than that by the voltage feedforward control method.
