A Multi-Functional Smart Socket Design

The concept of energy-saving sockets has been generated long ago, and has been developed so far, but the technology still needs to be improved. The design of this paper is based on this concept. We Design a smart socket with high power protection power off and low power energy saving. This design is based on the interaction between Arduino and ESP8266, and the measurement power is uploaded to the website. The website can monitor the power curve in real time and we can also control the electrical switch autonomously. This design is more versatile, safer and more energy efficient than existing smart sockets.
