Research on DGTD Algorithm of Hybrid Grid

DGTD (Discontinuous Galerkin Time Domain) is a widely used electromagnetic algorithm. It is usually modeled by tetrahedron or hexahedron, but there is a limitation in using one mesh alone. When using a tetrahedron, there are too many unknowns. If a hexahedron is used, the fitting performance to the target is poor. This paper proposes a hybrid grid modeling DGTD algorithm, which divides the computational domain into tetrahedral subdomains and hexahedral subdomains, and sets the swap boundary transfer information at the intersection of different subdomains. Numerical results verify the feasibility of the method.
