Survey on Context-aware Systems and Their Applications

In this paper, significant concepts and technology of context-aware systems are firstly expatiated, wherein reasoning techniques are classified and compared. Then based on our study, related applications in various fields, specifically the service recommendation and content adaptation transmission, are introduced. Finally, open issues are discussed to point out the challenge and emerging development direction of context-aware systems.
