Vehicle Quality Check Test Bench Using Arduino

In our present scenario, so many road accidents are happening because of poor quality of surface of the road. To avoid accidents and to provide safety for the driver and passenger the subsystems of the vehicle like Engine firing order, Exhaust gas, Anti-lock Braking System, Vibration should be monitored and controlled continuously. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are applicable in numerous domains, including industrial automation where WSNs may be used for monitoring and control of vehicle and equipment. However, the requirements in the vehicle test bench differ from the general WSN requirements. In recent years, standards have been defined by several vehicle monitoring alliances. In this proposed work the subsystems of the vehicle are monitored and informed automatically to the driver through arduino UNO board. Thus this automation reduces the human error caused due to manual monitoring and mostly the accidents can be avoided. Also in this paper anti lock braking system is discussed to avoid skidding of the vehicle during sudden slowing mechanism is applied.
