Seismic Signal Detection Algorithm Based on GS Transform Filtering and EMD Denoising

A seismic detection algorithm based on Generalized S-transform (GS) filtering and Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) denoising is proposed in this paper. The algorithm is compared with the traditional method which using the energy ratio method (STA/LTA) after a single filtering, it can effective improve the detection characteristic value of seismic signal in the case of low signal-to-noise ratio, so as to improve the detection probability of the signal effectively. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the detection eigenvalue of seismic signals when using the low signal-to-noise ratio.
