Information and Analytical Support for Organizing Commodity Flows on the Environmental and Economic Basis

The paper explores the problem information and analytical support for organizing commodity flows by taking into account both environmental and economic factors of business activity of enterprise. It is defined that for the purposes of optimisation the commodity flows of the enterprises with reference to the economic and environmental factors one should use the following models: gravity model, simulation modelling, linear programming. To build a set of objective and relevant analytical data for organisation of commodity flows, the recommendation is to use the method of linear programming while taking into account the ecological factors of both the manufacturer and the consumer. The paper presents a morphological model that suggests an optimal set of environmental and economic factors for manufacturers and retailers. The suggested transport optimisation model based on environmental and economic principles is developed for an enterprise in the bakery industry.
