Design and Analysis of Multiband Antenna for Bluetooth, WiMAX, WLAN and X-Band Applications

Multiband antenna which is designed on Silicon Substrate with CPW feed is presented. Antenna operates in four bands covering Bluetooth Wireless System (2.402GHz- 2.480GHz), WiMAX (3.30GHz-3.80GHz), WLAN (5.150GHz- 5.825GHz) and X Band (8GHz-12GHz). Two operating bands (Bluetooth & WiMAX) are obtained by embedding stubs and remaining bands (WLAN & X Band) are obtained by etching slots on radiating patch. Devised antenna offers good radiation pattern in all operating bands.
