On Determining the Energy Efficiency of the Electric Oven

Increasing the energy efficiency of household appliances is an important issue in our energy policy. The study of the thermal field of a household built-in electric oven and the determination of thermal losses are important elements of its design, as well as of its efficient operation. For this purpose, a 3D model based on the finite element method was developed. The adequacy of the model was assessed on the basis of experimental studies. The results obtained allow to simulate various operating modes of the electric oven, as well as to theoretically calculate its energy efficiency.
