Construction of Aerospace Bracket Manufactured from Short-Reinforced Composite

The article describes the question of the production of aerospace bracket from short-reinforced composite material by injection molding. A technique for constructing structured computational meshes for modeling the molding of ultra-viscous multiphase anisotropic environments containing short high-strength fibers in the Moldex3D using the joint use of the ANSYS Meshing and Rhinoceros was developed. The article describes the research of influence of the shape, dimensions, location of the runner system and parameters of the molding of spatial brackets from short-reinforced composites on the manufacturing quality of aerospace structures. The calculation results allowed to design and manufacture the tool for molding bracket. Five brackets were manufactured of UPA 6 20M and five brackets of UPA 30M by an injection-molding machine the Negri Bossi VE210-1700. Tests manufactured brackets confirm the calculations of the melt front, the location of the weld lines and orientation of reinforcing fibers.
