Effort Analysis of OSS Project Based on Deep Learning Considering UI/UX Design

Recently, the deep learning algorithms are used in various research areas. In particular, many research papers have been published in the area of image recognition. Then, we focus on the image information of software. It is important to consider the UI/UX Design in order to assess the software project management, because the UI/UX Design has close relations with the progress of software project. We propose the method of OSS project assessment based on deep learning by using the pixel data of UI/UX Design. Then, we analyze the effort data of OSS project obtained from the fault big data recorded on the bug tracking system. Moreover, several numerical examples of the proposed method based on deep learning by using the fault big data and pixel data of GUI in the actual OSS project are shown in this paper.
